Currently, our cooks fall into two categories: non-Maasai cooks that work with our sponsor and which have plenty of experience satisfying clients of many nationalities; and our Maasai cooks – some of which have previous experience on work and training placements with hotels and camps (such as Lake Natron Tented Camp run by the Moivaro Group, which is situated close to one of the villages that we come from), and Maasai cooks who until bussing out to join our sponsor, had no previous experience of cooking, and who have acquired their skills by working as apprentices to experienced cooks.
